The U.S Government funded Transforming Health and Resilience for Individuals Through Vibrant Empowerment (THRIVE) is a five-year cooperative agreement awarded on 9 th of December 2024 to the Centre for Clinical Care and Clinical Research (CCCRN) in partnership with Heartland Alliance and T.A Connect as consortium partners. THRIVE project is implemented in collaboration with 34 Community Based Organizations (CBOs) across 15 states of Nigeria namely: Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross Rivers, Edo, Lagos, Adamawa, Kano, Niger, Jigawa, Kebbi, Taraba, Sokoto, Yobe, Borno and Zamfara States. The THRIVE project will provide essential and life-saving services that serve to build resilience and mitigate the multiple, layered vulnerabilities faced by Children and Adolescents Living with HIV (C/ALHIV). The project will also contribute to closing gaps in Nigeria’s pediatric care and treatment cascade, supporting children and adolescents living with HIV and HIV positive caregivers to access continuous treatment, improve their quality of life, remain on HIV treatment, while reducing the risk of HIV transmission.
